Your nurses will take care of your baby and show you how to care for your baby, too. Bathing and cord care instructions will be given. Normal newborn characteristics will be discussed with you and your family. A hearing screening test, newborn screening test, and oxygenation test will be done for your baby before discharge home. Remember to try to get some rest while your baby is sleeping!
